Moments

There are moments when I want to pull my hair out during a 'grand mal' tantrum or crying. But, there are many moments when I have to just pinch myself because I can't believe they are mine. I love my girls! We couldn't be more blessed.

They were being cute on the floor this morning and so I just ran for the camera.

Dresses

We tried to get some pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses. My first attempt ending up being right next to a huge patch of poison ivy. Awesome. We left quickly before the girls got next to it. Second attempt ended in drama, but I think we got a few cute ones. It is sure hard to get pictures of moving targets.

Kate was tipping over all over the place. I'm glad she survived the ordeal. As you can tell, she looks concerned about her safety in this picture. Abby did a pretty good job holding her. These two are getting to be pretty good friends, I love it.

Easter 2011

This post is a wee bit late but better late than never right?
We had a really fun Easter this year. Dude and Lissa came up from Richmond, which made the weekend extra great. Egg decorating was a hit, but I will say I need to learn about boiling eggs better...opps. We had an Easter feast and many egg hunts around the city and home. Abby now has become a huge fan of Easter. The girls got all dressed up in their dresses from Nani for church and they looked really cute. Thanks Nani!
It was a great year and we always love celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior.

Kate happy with Lissa.

Showin' Dude her cool eggs. (I couldn't get this girl to look at me, she was very focused.)

Dave caught proof that we decorated eggs. Kate was crying and Abby was admiring her pink egg. Nothing but pink at our house.

Raccoons

We have some really strange raccoons hanging out in our apartment complex. They aren't afraid of anyone and we see them both day and night. Weird. Brett caught some footage of them when he was walking home from work in broad daylight. We have seen them in the trees and in the garbage can. Makes me scared to take down the garbage. They are fat from living off all the trash in the big city. The little buggers look like giant rats roaming around. Abby thinks they are cool but I want her to stay away.
Creepy little creatures.
