8 Years

We celebrated 8 years in August!  We celebrated by getting a babysitter and escaping to a One Republic Concert with friends.  The concert was awesome and it was nice to get out and enjoy good music under the stars. (Texas has the best stars at night with the big open sky.)  I love this man!  He has become very good at listening to me cry on a bad day, fixing my phone a million times over, finding my keys when they are lost, and pro at cleaning the kitchen.  He is also quite the cook and I love his food. I could make a list a mile long of all he does for me but to sum it up, he's my perfect fit.

Frozen Camp

My friend is a professional dancer and she did an awesome Frozen Dance Camp for kids in the neighborhood in the Summer. My girls were in heaven and loved every second of their time dancing and singing to their favorite songs.  The Frozen craze has died down since then (thankfully), but they sure savored every second of this dance camp and it was pretty cute watching them perform.

August 2014

August consisted of LOTS of swimming.  The way to make it through the heat in Austin is to be in the water.  We would basically go to the pool every day.  I got the point where I would shower them at the pool in their swimsuits, then put them in pjs in the dressing room so we could just go to bed when we got home.  ;)  August was also a month of just enjoying some lazy days before school hit in full force.
I love laid back days where you can sit back and enjoy the little moments.
