'Mine!'

A frequent word that is heard around our house is...'MINE.' If there is something Abby wants to claim as hers, you hear a very firm, 'MINE.' I'm trying to help her work on sharing etc, but obviously it is a work in progress. This last week, when my good friend Sharise was watching Abby, she sent her to wake up little Emily. Emily and Abby are best pals. Abby idolizes Emily and we hear her name all the time. She LOVES spending time with her best friend. Well, Sharise put Abby on Emily's bed in attempt to wake her up. Abby looked at her friend and said, 'Shhhh...nite, nite.' She got down from the bed, stood straight in front of Emily, put her hand on her chest, looked at Sharise and said, 'MINE.' She was declaring that Emily was 'hers' and no one was going to take her away from her. Ahhh...the LOVE of a friend. :)
