Farmers Market

The last couple years I have been able to work at the local Farmers Market a few Saturdays a month.  My friend owns a Crepe Stand and she's nice enough to let me come and work for her. It's fun to be a part of the community, and chat with friends; I love working there.  My sister even worked with us this Summer, which made it extra fun. The classic atmosphere of the Farmers Market can't be beat, everyone is in a good mood, and people walk around carrying fresh flowers and vegetables in their wicker baskets.  We also love it when "Banjo Man" comes to play.  He is one talented guy and can do a one-man show with all his instruments.  He even let Abby play one of his banjos a few weeks ago and she was beyond excited.  You will notice in these pictures and the video, my girls faces are covered in Nutella from the crepe they shared. Such a fun place.

This video was at the end of the day when all the people were gone and Kate was a bit grumpy, but we had to get a little taste of "Banjo Man."

The only reason I go to the farmer's market is the french pastry. I take my kids on a date there and we share a bit of Europe together. Working at a pastry stand sounds very dangerous for me. It will mean never losing these last few baby pounds. Good for you for working and having fun at the same time.
