Hip Shakin' Baby!

I caught Abby hip shakin' in her saucer...too funny. She almost looks like she is ready to do an interpretive dance with her arms for a second. This kid loves to dance! She might have dancing genes like her Aunt Suppy. The musical toy was stuck by her leg so it kept going off through the whole thing.


I know I post a lot about Abby and I'm sorry if it gets to be too much. This is just my way to keep record of what she's doing. It's a kind of journal for me.

Comfortable?

This is how I catch Abby sleeping sometimes. She rolls onto her stomach, out of her blankets and sticks her feet out the rails. Hmmm...doesn't look very comfy to me but she is sound asleep.

My Sweet Valentine!

I headed out to excercise with some friends and when I came home Brett surprised with this...

I opened the door and there were footprints leading into the house...

He had my favorite music playing in the background. When he walked around the corner, he was dressed up with a nice suit and tie, ready to dance...so cute! The biggest surprise was, he got us some inexpensive dance classes. I have always dreamed of being a good dancer, and I've told him that randomly at moments. Well, now I get to learn a bunch of different dance styles and I have 4 weekends of dancing dates. I'm really excited! I have such a sweet hubby, I love him so much!

Thirsty Anyone??

Abby was dying to have a sip of Brett's drink, so he decided to share the whole pitcher with her! She felt like such a big girl to be a part of the group. CHEERS!

Pandas!

We went to the zoo with friends last week and got to see the pandas. Abby loved seeing the animals. She especially loved seeing new and old friends. She lit up when she saw Matthew and started kicking her legs, flapping her arms and babbling. Gotta love friends! :) Thanks Jessica for organizing a fun trip to the zoo and the best part is...the National Zoo is FREE! We will be making lots of visits. :)

Bouncin' Baby

We had our good friends Cory and Sarah come and stay with us this past week, so we had the blow-up mattress set up. While we were cleaning up and putting it down, Brett let Abby play on it. She LOVED it! She was giggling and bouncing, having a great time. Abby even started crying when we took it down...sad moment for her. Anyway, we thought you might like a little taste of Abby's excitement. (She is in her diaper because we were getting ready for bed. Also, she has a cold right now, which you might notice.)

Abby loves playing in her saucer while I clean or cook. She is such a good baby!



We had some friends over and Abby had a great time playing with Mallory and Emily. Mal and Emily are very good at sharing and brought ALL the toys to Abby. She was happily sitting in the middle of a toy pile having the time of her life. She loves friends.
