Another reason why I need to catch up on these posts is so I can remember the details of what happened in May.  Good thing pictures say 1,000 words. 

 Mason turned two months and really started to show some personality.  This little guy is all smiles, unless he is hungry or tired…one of my easier babies for sure.  

Abby and Mason seem to have a special bond because he doesn't feel threatened by her.  

Great weather for the park with friends.  We wanted to savor the time we had before the hot months hit in full force.

I finally got out and ran after surgery from delivery and it was so nice to hit the trails again even though I was really slow.

This girl. 

Kate keeps me on my toes.  There is never a dull moment when she is around, (or conversation for that matter). I have no secrets with this child.  She will tell anyone and everyone exactly what is happening, and they are very detailed accounts. I don't want to know all the she is told my friends when she has been at their homes to play…we will try not to think about that.  I really need to start recording daily 'Kate Conversations'. She has spice and makes life exciting to say the least.  

 We went to PetsMart to find some indoor entertainment (other than destroying the house.) When I told her there were florescent fish she said she needed the sunglasses in order to see them to protect her eyes. 

And...lets just say that Mason has his life threatened on a daily basis…BUT he is quickly getting bigger so he can hold his own.  With the looks of his thighs, I wouldn't want to mess with him in the future.

Austin Ballet

In May, my cousin invited us to see a performance of Sleeping Beauty at the Austin Ballet. Abby felt so grown up coming along for the ladies night out.  It was fun to get all dressed up after days of baby spit up and sleepless nights.  Nothing like a breath of fresh air.  I was able to cover up my droopy eyes with make-up and Abby wore one of my necklaces.   I will have a memory of sitting on the balcony with Abby's eyes tightly glued to the binoculars that Sara let her borrow. I didn't think she would sit through the whole performance but she loved the whole performance.  We made a good memory and I see a tradition with this in the future.   

April 2014

April was our month to try and figure out the 3 kid business…(which we are still learning to juggle. ) I'm learning that there really isn't room for groceries anymore, and that I need to not be so picky about having things in order around the house.  I'm also learning laundry is a joke, and that having peanut butter and jelly for dinner is acceptable.  Having more kids than arms is an adventure but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I sure love these littles and I am blessed beyond measure to have them.

That crowd you see in the picture is all the people that dive into those eggs at the shot of a gun.  You better be quick because the 'hunt' is done is less than 30 seconds.

As you can see from this picture…folding laundry was an all day event.  I would fold some clothes…someone would need something (every 5 minutes), so I would leave it temporarily.  When I would return, all the folded laundry would then be unfolded and thrown around the room.  I bet you can guess who helped with this? Mason's facial expression below explains how I felt about laundry.
