Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken a few weeks ago.  This was our first time having our pictures done so I was unsure how the kids would cooperate. (There might have been some bribery involved to get them to behave.) Other than Mason being a bit grumpy, I'm pretty happy how they turned out.  The kids personalities really came through on a lot of these and our girls are looking way too grown up.  These were taken at the lake near our home. We love the area where we live…now to convince family to come here.  (Maybe they will get a harsh winter and they will be jealous of our warm weather.)

May 2014

Another reason why I need to catch up on these posts is so I can remember the details of what happened in May.  Good thing pictures say 1,000 words.
Mason turned two months and really started to show some personality.  This little guy is all smiles, unless he is hungry or tired…one of my easier babies for sure.

Abby and Mason seem to have a special bond because he doesn't feel threatened by her.

Great weather for the park with friends.  We wanted to savor the time we had before the hot months hit in full force.

A good visit with our cousins.

Mason getting his heart checked at his 2 month visit.

Lots of grilling.

…and even some rain.

Building roads by our home.

And it's mandatory to visit Salt Lick when friends visit.

Sleeping babes at church are rare, but when they happen Brett sneaks a picture.

A date with Sara. Kate was in heaven.

Cleaning the horse corral at a service project with the church.

Shopping with Lindsey and the girls.  We hit a rain storm at the mall and walked, or I guess I should say 'waded,' through inches of water.

Lots of smiles and sleeping (well, sleeping for Mason).

I finally got out and ran after surgery from delivery and it was so nice to hit the trails again even though I was really slow.

Abby finished off her swim lessons. Claudia was awesome.

Many trips to the Thinkery.

Daddy time. Nothing like some back porch chillin'.

Working through his acid reflux.

Dancing.
